The service is always free of charge by default and all fees are passed on to your customer. However, there are a handful of cases where fees are handled by the event organizers.

We do offer equipment where we waive the rental fees associated with the equipment. You must sell a certain number of online sales for us to offer this deal.


Here is the breakdown of what we offer and how many tickets you must sell for one of these setups:
• USB Credit card reader and USB Scanner bundle: 100 tickets
• Professional Wireless scanner (iPhone included) both WiFi and Verizon Cellular Internet: 500 tickets
• An example of rental fees being waived is if you sell 1000 tickets, we will waive the rental fees of 2 professional wireless scanners.

"You have three different options for processing payments.


1) You can use Purplepass' merchant account. Fees will automatically be adjusted depending on who does the credit card processing. If Purplepass hasn’t the credit cards, we charge a flat 3% which will be automatically added to the service fee. If you use your own merchant account or PayPal, we will update our fees to no longer charge the 3% credit card processing fee.
2) You can create your own merchant account. A credit card will be required when using your own merchant account. You will be collecting the face value of the ticket plus the service fee. Purplepass does a billing cycle and charge your card every Monday to recoup the ticketing fees you collected on our behalf. Pricing Rates
3) You can use PayPal to process credit cards. PayPal typically charges 2.9% + $0.25/transaction. You can choose to absorb this fee or pass it onto the customer. Please note that if you want to use your own PayPal account, a credit card on file will be required so we can charge for reimbursement of service fees that you collect on our behalf."

Creating custom reports is very simple and easy to do. To create a custom report, go to the “Tools” section on your account. On the side menu, the first thing that will be selected is “Custom Reporting”. Here, you will be able to create any type of report that you need. There is a wealth of information here that you can create a report for. The types of reports you will be able to create are “Customer Data”, “Financial Data”, “Marketing Data” and “Guest list Data”. Choose which data type you need. You also have options where you can narrow it down by event, date range, or you can retrieve all data from all events. After selecting this option, you are now ready to download your custom report. Click on Generate report and you are all set!

Creating an event takes only a few minutes. First you have to create an account, then on your dashboard, you can create your event; fill in the details and go live! All together, to completely set up and manage your event, it takes 6 steps.

Purplepass offers an assigned seating feature, where your ticket buyers will be able to select their own seats on an interactive map. Any maps that are created for you will be under “My Venues”. Here will be all the master templates for your account. You can also create your own map, however, we recommend calling us up first for a demo since the map editor has a learning curve. If you choose to have us take care of it, our Purplepass staff will create your seating map at no extra cost. All you need to do is give your service rep a picture of the seating assignments with any special notes, and we will take care of the rest.
